Wedding of the Year 2011
I believe I promised a post about my favourite wedding of 2011? I was originally planning on blogging about the Royal wedding (I love me a bit of Wills and Kate) but then I remembered another wedding that’s been along time coming and is really close to my heart.
On May 15th 2011, Elsie Flannigan and Jeremy Larson finally got hitched. Elsie happens to be my favourite artist/designer/blogger and my inspiration. I’ve been following her blog since 2007 and she is truly an inspiration to me. Not just her work, but her drive and ability to follow her dreams. Elsie and Jeremy’s wedding was so awesome simply because it was so, them. Elsie DIYed practically everything and her sister put together a great looking dessert table. They had it in a building in their town that they worked to rennovate and make ready. Basically, the whole day looked too good to be true. Also they were only just together when Elsie started her blog, so it’s been seriosuly cute to watch the whole thing develop. The day Jeremy proposed was super amazing (he did it onstage at a gig girls…be jealous!!)

Loving the fact that she wore an Orla Kiely’s dress to get married in…perfect!! And just in case the photos aren’t enough, have a look at the wedding video! But beware it may induce tears.

Overall this just was the perfect wedding for me. I’m so happy for these two, I know they’ll have a long and happy married life together.
